Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy flew to the Philippines to meet with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and discuss how Manila can help Kyiv.

Zelenskyy, who arrived in Manila Sunday night, met with the Philippine leader in Malacaรฑang on Monday morning, according to the Office of the President.

His visit comes on the heels of his surprise appearance at the IISS Shangri-la Dialogue in Singapore, to drum up Asian support for the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland happening in June.

While in Singapore, the Ukrainian leader held several meetings with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Indonesian President-elect Prabowo Subianto, and Singaporean leaders Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and President Tharman Shanmugaratnam.
