Vast swaths of the country will experience scattered rains on Friday, the state weather bureau said. 

PAGASA said the habagat will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

The rest of the country will experience localized thunderstorms, PAGASA added. 

No low pressure area is expected this weekend, the weather agency said.
