Motorists can heave a sigh of relief next week as an oil price rollback is expected on Tuesday.

This matches estimates presented by authorities ahead of this weekend.

Diesel prices will drop by P1.20 to P1.40 per liter, while kerosene prices will slide by P1.10 to P1.30 per liter.

Meanwhile, gasoline prices will slide by P0.50 to P0.70 per liter.

DOE Director said the cutting of interest rates and the lower-than-expected increase in demand were driving oil prices down.
